The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has issued Press Notice for seeking On-line submission of application by the candidates for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination. In accordance with NCTE Circular No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011 regarding Guidelines for conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test, the time duration for Paper-I & Paper-II, has been mentioned as 1.30 hours in CTET-JULY 2013 Information Bulletin and Press Notice available on CTET website.
In accordance with NCTE letter No. F.76-1/2011/NCTE/Acad, dated 9th April, 2013, regarding extension of time duration to complete TET from 1.30 hours to 2.30 hours, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has issued Public Notice of the following revised schedule for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination.
It has come to the notice of the Board that some fake Offer of Appointments are being issued on behalf of CBSE CALL CENTRE asking candidates to deposit huge sum of security amount in cash/DD in favour of Finance Officer of CBSE Board. PLEASE NOTE: CBSE has neither issued any such letter, nor asked anyone to deposit any amount in any bank account by any mode. Complaints may be lodged at suitable authority (Police Station, etc) of any such fraud.
The 1st Joint Engineering Entrance Examination [JEE (Main)] is to be conducted in pen & paper made on 7th April 2013. In computer mode, this examination is to be conducted on 9, 22, 23 & 25th April 2013. The different sets of question papers are used on the different dates of the examination. It is brought to the notice of all stakeholders of this examination that the subject experts who have prepared these question papers have certified that the entire syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry has been covered in each question set by dividing the syllabus of each subject into appropriate number of units and choosing equal number of questions from each unit. Further, in every set, each subject carries the same percentage of easy, medium and difficult questions. This ensures the same difficulty level of each set of question paper as per the practice of the Board in the year 2012.
1. The duration of time of each paper is 2 ½ hours and has been indicated in the date- sheet/Admit Card.
2. The OMR Sheets would be distributed to the candidates between 10.00 – 10.15 A.M. during which the candidates would write their particulars on the OMR Sheet and the same shall be checked and signed by the Asst. Supdts. (s).
3. Seal of the OMR Sheet, to be broken/opened by the candidates to takeout the answer sheet at 10:25 AM. The student will start marking the response on the OMR Sheet at 10.30 A.M.
As notified earlier all the registered candidates of JEE (Main) 2013 were informed to submit/update their roll numbers of class 12th /qualifying examination before downloading the admit cards of JEE (Main) - 2013 from the website www.jeemain.nic.in. It has been observed that some of the candidates have committed mistakes while submitting their roll numbers.
It has, therefore, been decided to validate the information of class 12th / qualifying examination roll numbers/Board/Year during the examination of JEE (Main) – 2013. (Pen & Paper as well as Computer Based Test). An authentication sheet will be given to candidate in the examination hall in which he/she has to verify the same.
The candidates are, hereby, advised to also bring with them a copy of document (as per following applicable criteria) on the day of their JEE (Main) - 2013 and submit the same to the invigilator at the examination centre:-
Note: Candidate has to write Roll No. of JEE (Main) Examination on the copy of the document being submitted in support of class 12th/Qualifying examination.
As you are aware the results of Problem Solving Assessment held on 16 Feb. 2013 pertaining to Class lX have been declared and sent to respective schools in India and overseas through their e-mail lDs from 21" March to 23 March,2013, which the schools concerned must have received by now. In case any schooi has not received the results for Class lX kindly write email to email@example.com.
CBSE has set up a dedicated Call Center for handling routine inquiries and grievances pertaining to various activities and functions of the Board. Students presently studying in various CBSE affiliated schools, candidates appearing in private examination, pass out students of CBSE Board, parents, School management, new school seeking CBSE affiliation, awardees of CBSE scholarship schemes, aspirants and applicants for NEET, JEE, CTET, JNVST and general public can approach the CBSE Call Center for obtaining information of the procedures/rules and regulations of various activities of the Board.
The schools affiliated to CBSE are requested to send the Projects of various Scholastic areas of Classes IX to XII for PROJECT BASED LEARNING material which they would like to share with the Board.
1) Project work should be of the original work of students.
2) Projects of innovative, investigatory, research based only are to be sent.
3) Award winning projects at National and International platforms can be sent.
4) The Project synopsis along with /photographs/necessary documentation work to be sent through D.V.D./E-mail to the given address:
This year CBSE has introduced facilities to schools to generate online Roll no. wise List of Candidates appearing in Class X/XII examination 2013. School can also generate online Admit card for their regular student appearing in Board Examinations 2013.
Visually challenged candidates appearing for the Board’s Class X/XII exams will be permitted to use computer software for the examination :
a) However, Candidate(s) shall be required to bring their computer with the enabled software to the examination centre with prior intimation to the Board
b) Candidate(s) using computer software would not be provided with amanuensis
c) Such candidates will be allotted examination centre only in the city where the Regional Office is situated;
